Serving on the Board of Agape for Youth

I currently serve as treasurer of the Agape for Youth board.

Agape for Youth is a Greater Dayton therapeutic foster care and adoption agency, founded in 1989. The agency works with youth and families on foster placement, reunification when that is the right path, adoption, family support, and Ohio’s Bridges program for young adults 18 to 21.

Board work is governance and stewardship, not casework. As treasurer I help the board look after the organization’s finances so Agape can keep doing that work. Midwestern Wealth Management does not provide foster care, and this is not a fundraising ask from the firm.
